Emeritus Catholic Archbishop of Tamale to be buried on July 9

The Most Reverend Gregory Ebo Kpiebaya, Emeritus Archbishop of Tamale has died who died on May 31, 2022, will be buried on July 9, 2022.

According to official communication, the body of the 89-year-old will be received at the OLA Cathedral in Tamale at 5 pm on July 8, 2022, followed by traditional mourning and a Vigil Mass.

On Saturday, July 9, 2022,  mourners will file past the mortal remains at the Tamale Jubilee Park after which a requiem service will be held before burial.

It would be recalled last month that the Current Archbishop of Tamale, Most Reverend Philip Naameh  confirmed the death  of Most Reverend Gregory Ebo Kpiebaya to Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana in a letter dated May 31, 2022 indicating that he died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital
