17-Year-Old Behind “GTA 6” Leak Arrested In U.K. According to reports, a 17-year-old was detained in the U.K. for orchestrating the recent “Grand Theft Auto 6” leak. A 17-year-old has reportedly been detained by British police in connection with the recent security lapse at Rockstar Games, which resulted in the leak of their upcoming game, Grand Theft Auto 6. He is thought to be affiliated with the hacker collective “Laspus$.”
The group is thought to have been involved in hacking attempts at numerous other significant businesses, including Uber, Microsoft, Cisco, Samsung, Nvidia, and Okta. Although police would not confirm it, a source familiar with the incident told The Desk that he was being detained specifically for the Rockstar breach.
