God Forbid: Massive Reaction As TV3 Post This Picture Of Nana Addo In France

[ad_1]

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was presented with an honorary doctorate from the University of Sorbonne, in Paris, France, in recognition of his commitment to entrenching the values of democracy in Ghana, but it seems Ghanaians are totally against it in all standards.

The Honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Sorbonne, in Paris, France, of one of the most prestigious universities in Europe and the world.

Sorbonne University conferred the award on President Akufo-Addo, in recognition of his commitment to entrenching the values of democracy in Ghana, fostering peace within the West African Region, guaranteeing access to a minimum of senior high school education for all of Ghana’s children through the implementation of the Free SHS policy, and also for the leadership shown in the fight against COVID-19, amongst others.

Ghanaians however don’t seem to buy into the verisimilitude as to why and how the president who has failed as promised is given such a prestigious award.

Here are worrying reactions and assertions from Ghanaians:

• This very award given to our president clearly shows that the West never wanted African development. Under the leadership of this man democracy in Ghana has sunk so low.

• God forbid, that at the lowest of your country in the history of the fourth republic, you could accept an award, this is rather Dr of Incompetence and not the other way round.

• You can’t provide textbooks for schools in your country, but you are going around collecting unwanted degrees that have no impact on the suffering masses. You have finally confirmed why many have vowed not to vote for the New Patriotic Party [NPP]. This is just sad for a great country like Ghana.
