After several weeks of the GMB2022 contests, the day was finally ready for the crown to be accorded the deserving queen.
2021 Queen Sarfoa was in the National Theatre to provide a statement of her success stories and to crown the ultimate winner.
The first position and ultimate winner went to Northern Region’s Teiya who went home with a GHS20,000 worth of medical cover, A car and a cash prize. She unveiled her project of discouraging the migration of Kayayei from the north to Accra for greener pastures.
Oti Region’s Aiko took home GHS8,000 and other souvenirs. She illustrated on stage her proposed project on how Rabies should be dealt with by the various authorities.
The third position went to Central Region’s Asiedua and she went home with GHS6,000. She did stage her project on the involvement of the Ghana Education Service for more practical education.
The fourth position went to Eastern Region’s Amoani and she went home with GHS5,000 her stage project on the promotion of Science Technology and Mathematics was a delight to watch.
The fifth position went to Volta Region’s Xornam and she beautifully delighted the audience with her model of providing rural health care to villages. She went home with GHS2000.
Many Ghanaians have expressed excitement at the outcome of the contest as they have massively hailed the new GMB queen Teiya for her amazing performances and impressions.
