Police Rescue Man Locked Up In Room For 20 Years In Kaduna

A 67-year-old man who had been confined in a room in Kaduna for more than 20 years was freed on Wednesday by the police.

The man was discovered in a room at a residence on Kaduna’s Bayajidda Road, naked and chained.

When a police squad arrived at the house, the residents of the building fled.

A full investigation would be carried out, according to DSP Mohammed Jalige, the police public relations officer for Kaduna State.

Jalige claimed that certain environmental health personnel who were on duty in the home when the victim, Ibrahim Ado, was found, were the ones to make the initial discovery.
