Berekum Chelsea recorded their first win of the ongoing BonoAhafo Top Four tournament after beating Nsoatreman FC 1-0 this afternoon.
The game was played at the Nana Amoah Koramansah II Stadium in Nsoatre as Chelsea, bounced back from their opening game defeat to Aduana FC.
The win, will spur the Bibires on for the rest of this mini tournament, as the club’s participating, continue to keep themselves ready for the resumption of the betPawa Premier League.
Nsoatreman FC, suffered their second defeat in this tournament after losing to Bechem United in their opening game.
In the other game in the competition played this afternoon, Bechem United drew 1-1 with Aduana FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem.
Cephas Mantey, equalized for the home side after Isaac Mintah had opened the scoring for Aduana FC as the spoils were shared.
The tournament will continue at the weekend with two more matches as the clubs await the resumption of the league campaign.
